People who take part level up, get roles when they reach the levels you choose and show up on the leaderboard. Everything is adjusted from the web panel.

How XP is earned and used.
XP per message
15 XP per message, with a 60-second wait between them. You can change both values.
Anti-farming
A minimum message length and, on by default, no XP for repeating the same message. Whatever automod deletes doesn’t count either.
Voice XP
If you turn it on, 15 XP every 5 minutes in voice channels with at least two people who aren’t bots. Never in the AFK channel.
Level roles
Choose which role is given at each level. They stack: levelling up never removes an earlier one.
Excluded channels and roles
No XP in the channels or for the roles you pick. Excluding a category excludes all its channels and threads.

Weekly and monthly leaderboards
As well as the all-time one, /leaderboard shows who has earned the most XP this week or this month, when it closes and where you rank.
A role for the winner Premium
When the week or month closes, the role you choose goes to the top places, from 1 to 10, and is taken from whoever had it. If you pick a channel, the podium is announced.
XP multipliers Premium
More XP for a role, such as boosters, or in a specific channel, and a multiplier for the whole server. From ×0.1 to ×5; if several apply, they multiply together, capped at ×5.
Double XP events Premium
Schedule a weekend at ×2, or up to ×5, with a start and end date. It starts and ends on its own and, if you pick a channel, announces it.

With the standard curve, going from level N to the next costs 5·N² + 50·N + 100 XP: the first level is 100 XP. Without premium only the 3 lowest level roles count; the rest are paused, not deleted.

- Add Kirno to your server with the “Add to Discord” button.
- In the panel, go to levels and pick the channel for the level-up message.
- Set how much XP each message gives, whether voice counts and which channels give no XP.
- Add the roles that are given at each level.

What people usually ask.
How much XP does each message give?
15 XP by default, at most once every 60 seconds per person. Both numbers can be changed in the panel.
How many level roles can I set for free?
Three. With premium there’s no limit. If you lose premium, the three lowest ones keep working and the rest are paused, not deleted.
Is XP earned in voice channels?
Yes, if you turn it on: 15 XP every 5 minutes in channels with at least two people who aren’t bots. No XP in the AFK channel.
Can I change the level curve?
With premium, yes: you choose how much each level costs and the max level, up to 1000. Without premium the standard curve up to level 100 is used, and you can try another one in the panel before deciding.
Is there a weekly or monthly leaderboard?
Yes, for free: /leaderboard with the periodo option shows this week’s or this month’s, when it closes and where you rank. The week starts on Monday. With premium, the role you choose also goes to the winner automatically when it closes.
Can I run a double XP event?
With premium, yes: you choose the multiplier, from ×1.1 to ×5, and when it starts and ends, up to 31 days in a row. You can have up to 20 scheduled and, if you pick a channel, Kirno announces when it starts and when it ends.
