Free to start · Installs in under a minute

What it does

Moderating by hand, without surprises.

Commands with hierarchy checks

Kick, ban, timeout and warn check that you don’t act on yourself, the bot, the owner or someone with a role equal to or higher than yours.

Warnings that expire

Warnings expire after 30 days by default, or whenever you say, from 1 to 365 days, or never. Expired ones stop counting but stay in the history.

Automatic escalation

At 3 active warnings, the person is timed out for 10 minutes. You decide how many warnings and how long it lasts.

History per person

Each person’s bans, kicks, timeouts and warnings in one place, and warnings can be viewed, deleted or cleared.

Bulk delete

Up to 100 messages at once, or only one person’s.

A log of every action

Every action in your log channel, with its own channel and switch for each type if you prefer.

Temporary bans

/ban with a duration, from 1 minute to 1 year: 30m, 12h, 7d or 2w for weeks. The ban lifts itself when it’s due, even if the bot has restarted.

Server log with who did it

Bans, member role changes and nicknames, with who did it according to the audit log. With premium, also roles, channels, voice, invites and emojis.

Automod that keeps watch on its own.

Word filter

It matches whole words, ignores accents, turns numbers and symbols into letters and catches repeated letters. It also checks edited messages.

Anti-spam

It stops bursts, more than 5 messages in 5 seconds by default, and messages with too many mentions.

Link and invite filter

Deletes invites to other servers, not to yours, and if you want any link that isn’t on your list of allowed domains. With exempt roles and channels.

You choose the penalty

Just delete, delete and warn, which counts towards escalation, or delete and time out. With an exempt role for your team.

Raid protection.

Wave alert

If more accounts than usual join at once, 10 in 10 seconds by default, Kirno alerts you in the channel you choose with a list of who joined. You decide how many and in how long.

Minimum account age

Accounts created fewer days ago than you set, from 1 to 90, are kicked or timed out when they join and, if you want, get a private message with the reason.

Lockdown mode Premium

While it lasts, from 5 minutes to 24 hours, anyone who joins is timed out or kicked. It switches on by itself when a wave is detected, with the alert’s button or with /antirraid, and it can raise the server’s verification level and put it back when it ends.

Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask.

Is Kirno’s moderation free?

Almost all of it: commands, temporary bans, warnings, escalation, history, anti-spam, link filter, raid alerts, minimum account age and the logs. Premium removes the 25-word limit on the filter and adds anti-raid lockdown mode, the full server log and the log of edited and deleted messages with what they said.

What happens when someone piles up warnings?

With escalation on, which is the default, at 3 active warnings Kirno times the person out for 10 minutes. You can change both numbers or turn it off.

Does the filter catch disguised words?

Yes: it ignores accents, turns numbers and symbols into letters and catches repeated letters. And it also checks messages when they’re edited.

Can I delete old messages with /clear?

Up to 100 at once, as long as they’re less than 14 days old: that’s the limit Discord sets on bulk deletion.

How does Kirno protect against a raid?

For free, it alerts you in the channel you choose when too many accounts join within a few seconds, and it can kick or time out brand-new accounts. With premium, lockdown mode times out or kicks everyone who joins while it lasts, switches on by itself or with /antirraid and can raise the server’s verification level.

How do I set a temporary ban?

With /ban and the duracion option: for example 30m, 12h, 7d or 2w for two weeks, from 1 minute to 1 year. Kirno lifts the ban on its own when the time is up and records it in the log.
